The Jacksonville Jaguars wiped 17 players from the team's active roster on Friday afternoon.
After evaluating them over several months that included minicamps, organized team activities, training camp and the preseason, the Jaguars were forced to let several players go prior to Saturday's deadline.

Thoughts: As much as this may pain some Jaguars fans to read, this was seemingly inevitable. Johnson had a lot of potential coming out of UCF and still probably deserves to be in the league.
