On Monday the Jaguars made another move to bolster their offensive line by claiming guard/tackle Tanner Hawkinson off of waivers. Hawkinson was waived by the Eagles, who signed him last October, and is the first player claimed off of waivers this league year. Hawkinson was only active for two games during the 2015 season but never saw any game action for the Eagles. A former 2013 5th round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals will likely be vying for a backup role with the Jaguars. He was the first player claimed off waivers in the 2016 league year.
