Jacksonville Jaguars cut 13 players, trim to 75

The Jacksonville Jaguars are moving toward their league-mandated cap of 75 players as the regular season looms near.

With NFL rosters to be cut down further, the men who were cut, waived, or placed on injured reserve aren’t going to be the last to have that happen to them.

Defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. saw his rookie season officially come to a close before it got started. The Jaguars placed him on injured reserve along with recently-injured offensive tackle Josh Wells. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see Fowler play this season, but he should bounce back heading into year two.
