With the season effectively over (realistically it has been for the last 6 or 7 weeks), it’s time to start looking forward. Part of that look is an evaluation of the players on the roster and determining whether or not they are a key piece in making this franchise viable as a playoff contender.
That’s going to be a tough question at certain positions, namely quarterback given Blake Bortles‘ staggering regression, but there are a handful of “no-brainer” building blocks. One of those guys is former guard and now-center Brandon Linder. Easily the best offensive lineman on the team since being drafted in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Linder excelled at guard for 2 years and hasn’t skipped a beat as the center.
