Free agency isn’t done in Jacksonville quite yet, the Jaguars recently signed former Oakland Raiders Center Stefen Wisniewski to provide depth to the offensive line.
The Jaguars signed Wisniewski to a 1 year deal which makes a lot of sense, he recently had a shoulder surgery which could be a big reason why it took him so long to sign with a team.
This seems to be a very low risk signing, the Jags have the money to play with and they need more veteran presence on their offensive line, Wisniewski provides that. Also, the contract is only 1 year so if Wisniewski can return back to his elite level then the Jags will have a chance to re-sign him next offseason and if that isn’t the case they will cut ties with him without investing much.
