2016 NFL Draft: Jaguars Trade Up To Take Myles Jack In 2nd Round - Scouting Report, Highlight Video And More

With the fifth pick in the second round and the No. 36 overall selection, the Jacksonville Jaguars have selected LB Myles Jacks from UCLA. The Jaguars traded up with the Baltimore Ravens to end the slide of Jack. The Jags gave up a 5th rounder to move up.

Position: Linebacker

Measurables: 6’1’’, 245 pounds, 19 bench press reps

Scouting Report:
There’s no doubt about Jack’s Top 5 ability. But teams are concerned about his knee after tearing his meniscus in September, and he might need microfracture surgery. Jack might not be ready for the start of the season, but neither was Todd Gurley. Jack is similar type of athlete, playing both running back, linebacker and even some defensive back. Jack doesn’t have the greatest size, but his athletic ability more than makes up for it. He’ll be a great fit as a 3-4 OLB or even as a 4-3 OLB.
