The coaching staff of the Iowa State women’s basketball team worked long hours on Sunday, so much that head coach Bill Fennelly sent them home or they would’ve missed the Super Bowl.
“You have to keep grinding and keep doing it,” Fennelly said Monday at his weekly press conference.
“That’s what we’ve done. Nothing has really changed with us.”
Fennelly loves his staff’s dedication, that they “embrace the process.
