Iowa State senior associate athletic director-student services David Harris is a finalist for the athletic director job at UAB, according to a report from AL.com.
Arkansas senior associate athletics director Jon Fagg and associate vice president and executive senior associate athletic director Mark Ingram of Temple are the other two finalists.
Harris is the administrator for football, men’s basketball and wrestling and recently was ISU’s acting AD while Jamie Pollard recovered from a heart attack and triple-bypass surgery.
A voicemail left for Harris was not immediately returned.
UAB’s athletic department has been one that has garnered national attention in recent months after it disbanded its football program amid financial concerns.
