Hallice Cooke Transferring from Iowa State

The first major piece of offseason roster news struck on Monday when it was announced reserve shooting guard Hallice Cooke would be transferring from the Iowa State basketball program.

Cooke played his freshman season of college at Oregon State, connecting on 46% of his 3-point attempts before deciding to transfer to Iowa State the next season. After sitting out a year due to NCAA rules, Cooke appeared in all but three of ISU's games in the 2015-16 season, averaging just 10.9 minutes per game - down from the 26.3 minutes per game he played at Oregon State.

With the projected roster for the Cyclones going forward, it appears as if playing time would continue to be an issue for Cooke, who struggled to maintain his spot in the rotation after a small suspension in the middle of last season.
