Football: Why a chair and projector helped DB Edwards become a Cyclone
Evrett Edwards saw Jack Trice Stadium. He toured the campus. He walked through the locker and weight rooms.
It was nice, but what sold him on Iowa State was a chair and a projector.
Edwards watched ISU practice film with defensive coordinator Jon Heacock. The coach answered Edwards questions about the secondary and it was that conversation that sealed it. Edwards, a Duke graduate transfer, would become a Cyclone.
“Seeing is believing,” Edwards said.
