Football: Notebook - Cotton-Moya expected back for K-State

The season is ending, but Iowa State is starting to get healthy.

The Cyclones are expected to get back safety Kamari Cotton-Moya, offensive guards Oni Omoile and Daniel Burton and defensive tackle Pierre Aka for Kansas State on Saturday (11 a.m., FS1), coach Paul Rhoads said at his weekly press conference on Monday.

Cotton-Moya’s return is a bit of a surprise. When he suffered a hamstring injury before facing No. 10 Baylor in October, it was supposed to end his season.

But Cotton-Moya responded well to treatment and rehab. He practiced last week and returned to the depth chart this week, where he’s listed as a co-starter with Darian Cotton.
