It was hard for Sheldon Croney Jr. to concentrate. There was a hole in his left hand.
But it went beyond that.
He sat in shock. He’d stared at the hole in his palm, unable to truly process the gunshot wound that led to the blood pouring everywhere. His thoughts floated to his parents. He didn’t want them to worry. He knew they would.
The medical personnel were there, with their gloves and bandages, but Croney Jr.
