Former Cyclone makes a run at Capital City scoring record

It was another eventful round of Capital City League games Sunday evening as two Cyclones made their 2015 summer league debuts and an ex-Cyclone made a run at the league’s scoring record.

Abdel Nader and Jameel McKay finally suited up for their respective teams and got some Capital City League Action.

Former Cyclone and soon-to-be Southern Mississippi athlete Kourtlin Jackson scored 38 points in the first half, but fell just short of breaking former Cyclone Sherron Dorsey-Walker’s single-game scoring record of 67 points. Here are Sunday's recaps:

Game 1: ADIO 121, Renaissance Granite 108

The first matchup of the night featured an unlikely hero in ISU walk-on Jordan Ashton, who caught fire and led the Georges Niang-less ADIO squad to victory.
