Weather Update
New Year’s Day in Orlando looks delightful. Temps throughout the day will be in the 60s and partly cloudy. By game time, we will be into the high 60s, with a light wind out of the west. Not bad! Conversely, tomorrow’s weather in Iowa City is nearly 40 degrees colder.
You can do worse than 69 very nice degrees in the middle of the game.

This is where this thing goes off the rails. This game started with Tennessee as a 8.5-point favorite over Iowa. Then that weird interregnum between the regular season and the bowl season happened and players started opting out all over the country.
