It’s been a while, but the Iowa Basketball team has finally cracked the Associated Press’ Top 5 for the first time in the last 27 years.
Ever since Roy Marble, B.J. Armstrong, and Ed Horton left the University of Iowa, the Hawkeyes hadn’t been back inside the AP’s Top 5. Well, that all changed today when the they ranked the Hawkeyes 3rd in their latest poll.
Let’s just put this in perspective a little bit. The last time Iowa was ranked inside the Top 5, a gallon of gas would cost you 97 cents.
