Things got started Thursday night as Eno Benjamin and Wylie East took on Mesquite Poteet. Following up on the ridiculous performance Benjamin had last week was sure to be a tall task, but Eno did his best. He managed 190 yards on the ground on 35 carries. He failed to get into the endzone running the ball for the first time this year, but did throw a TD pass in what was one of his more human-like performances. He finished 4-14 through the air and threw 3 picks. Iowa won’t be asking him to throw too often and the highlights on the ground are still fantastic.
