Portland Timbers captain Liam Ridgewell and goalkeeper Jake Gleeson were arrested Tuesday morning in Oregon on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

The arrests in Clackamas County outside of Portland came less than 36 hours after the Timbers' MLS campaign ended Sunday with a 4-1 loss at the Vancouver Whitecaps. The defending MLS Cup champion Timbers finished seventh in the Western Conference, two points behind Sporting Kansas City for the final playoff slot.

Bail was set at $7,500 for each player and posted.
