North Decatur coach Steve Stirn picked up career victory No. 100 with the Chargers’ 48-20 win over Oldenburg Academy.
South Bend Clay head coach Craig Redman and assistant coach David Pruitt were put on paid administrative leave prior to the Colonials’ regular season finale against Elkhart Central. It is unknown when either Redman or Pruitt will return to the sidelines. Freshman coach Gary Fields was in charge of the team in its 44-14 loss to the Blazers in which Clay was whistled for 25 penalties for 203 yards.
Winamac coach Tim Roth will be retiring after 36 seasons at the conclusion of the 2016 campaign.
