Police: Colts' David Parry used slurs, threatened officers

Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman David Parry was visibly impaired, resisted arrest and used misogynistic and homophobic slurs, according to police who arrested him Saturday morning in Scottsdale, Ariz. He also threatened to "come after them" several times, police said.

Scottsdale officers responding to a report of a stolen golf cart said they found Parry sitting on the sidewalk about 50 feet from the missing cart, which had crashed into a gate.

The cart's driver had been using it as a taxi, they said.

Parry was arrested just after 2:30 a.m. Feb. 25 on suspicion of robbery, auto theft, criminal damage, resisting arrest and driving under the influence, according to the police reports.
