NASHVILLE –
First Quarter Recap
The Titans won the toss and elected to receive.
Tennessee didn’t face much resistance on the first drive of the game. A couple of third-and-short conversions for the Titans allowed them to march down the field in 10 plays before Marcus Mariota found tackle eligible Taylor Lewan for a 10-touchdown. A mishandled extra point gave the Titans an early 6-0 lead.
A depleted offense for the Colts produced a very nice opening drive. The Colts went 72 yards in 10 plays. They got help from a third-down holding penalty, but also had to overcome two drops.
