ANDERSON, Ind. – Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Art Jones made his first comments since he was suspended four games for using performance-enhancing drugs.
“I did a piss-poor job going through my supplements making it sure there wasn’t a banned substance in there,” Jones said.
Jones also didn’t sound a player who agrees with the NFL’s decision to suspend him.
“With the NFL, you can take too much cough syrup and it’s PED,” he said. “Not getting into too much detail with that.”
Jones is eligible to return to the Colts on Oct.
