INDIANAPOLIS — The Cleveland Browns have put in a request to interview Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds for the team’s open general manager position, a source confirmed to IndyStar on Saturday afternoon.
Dodds has long been considered one of the NFL’s best scouts and an up-and-coming candidate for a general manager’s spot, but there has been less movement at the general manager level around the league than there have been coaching moves since he was hired by Chris Ballard to come to Indianapolis in 2017.
