OXFORD, Miss. – Indiana State men's and women's track & field opens the outdoor season with a trip to Ole Miss to help dedicate the brand-new, $7.2 million Ole Miss Track & Field Complex at the Joe Walker Invitational this weekend.
The Sycamores are coming off third and fifth place finishes at the MVC Indoor Championships on the women's and men's side, respectively.
Looking to get her senior outdoor season off on the right foot is All-American Alethia Marrero, who had a very strong comeback season indoors. Marrero, who finished fifth in a historically fast NCAA field in the 800-meter outdoors in 2015, missed the entire 2016 season due to injury.
