BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Sycamores (10-5, 0-0 MVC) took advantage of out-hitting Campbell (7-9, 0-0 Big South) in a 4-1 win over the host of the invitational. Junior Justin Hill led Indiana State on the mound, while multiple hitters led the team on offense.
Indiana State out-hit Campbell 11 hits to the Camels’ four. Leading the Sycamores was freshman Clay Dungan who went 3-for-3 at the plate, knocking in one run, and drawing one walk. Senior Kaden Moore finished 2-for-3 while junior Hunter Owen continued a five-game hitting streak, going 2-for-4 in the win.
