ST. LOUIS - Indiana State junior has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week, the league announced Monday. Evansville's Camary Williams averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.5 steals and 1.0 assists per game in two Aces wins last week, earning her first career MVC Player of the Week honor.
Bibbins finished the week nearly averaging a double-double, scoring 13.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and an assists a game to help Indiana State to a 2-1 record with wins over Miami (OH) and Eastern Illinois.
A Harvey, Louisiana native, Bibbins matched a career high 16 points versus the Redhawks as she helped propel ISU to a comeback win after trailing Miami by 17 points in the second quarter.
