Paul George scored 18 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the field and added two steals on the defensive end in as the USA hammered Argentina 111-74.
One of those steals he turned into an easy two points on a dunk.
George was in the zone from the jump, ending the first half with 14 points.
Afterwards, Coach Krzyzewski praised George’s conditioning saying that he was “probably the in the best shape of any of the Olympians.”
Impressive considering that aside from the Seattle Pro-Am game earlier this month, George hasn’t played a meaningful game since May 1st.
