The Indiana Pacers announced Monday they have assigned forward/center Shayne Whittington to their affiliate in the NBA’s Development League, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
In his second year out of Western Michigan, the 6-11 Whittington has appeared in 24 games for the Mad Ants, averaging 12.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. Whittington has also appeared in four games for the Pacers.
