Larry Bird Resigns as Pacers’ President, Is It Good or Bad for the Indiana Pacers?

Although Larry Bird recently said he takes his job year-by-year, it was surprising to hear the news about him resigning as the Pacers’ President. Kevin Pritchard is now taking over the position, although Larry still remains a consultant for the team.

Is this good or bad for the Pacers? You can go both ways.

Why It’s Good

Kevin Pritchard has plenty of experience calling the shots from when he did so in Portland. He was the Assistant General Manager of the Blazers in 2006, where he had an impact on the team acquiring Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge on draft day.
