This is the last time Kobe Bryant will visit Bankers Life Fieldhouse and the last time the NBA legend will take on the Indiana Pacers. Kobe announced his retirement right before playing the Pacers earlier this season.
He’s earned begrudging respect from most of his opponents as he’s given nightmares to almost every one of them at least once or twice. For the Indiana Pacers, it was the 2000 NBA Finals where the Los Angeles Lakers beat them 4-2 to claim Kobe’s first NBA title that probably makes it hard for Indiana’s fans to love him.
