The Good: The defense. The Lakers are not a very good basketball team right now and were missing Roy Hibbert, but the Indiana Pacers forced turnovers and scored off them, got out on the break, and held the Lakers to some truly ugly shooting numbers.
The Bad: Take your pick. We’ll call it the Pacers 3 point shooting, which was positively Lance Stephenson-esque at 14.8%.
MVP: Paul George. Finished with 21 and 9, didn’t shoot well but hit some big shots and big free throws at the end. Bonus points for calling Kobe Bryant old when talking with Jeremiah Johnson.
