Damjan Rudez Joins Basketball Without Borders For Spain Camp

Indiana Pacers forward Damjan Rudez was one of the 101 international players that were on NBA rosters last year and he’s looking to give back to the sport this summer. The Croatian is joining Basketball Without Borders for a camp in June. Indiana Pacers assistant coach Dan Burke will join Rudez and other NBA talent in Gran Canaria, Spain on June 2nd for a 3-day camp.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced today that Gerald Henderson (Charlotte Hornets; United States), Damjan Rudez (Indiana Pacers; Croatia), and Cody Zeller (Charlotte Hornets; United States) will join NBA Legends Jorge Garbajosa (Spain), Vladimir Radmanovic (Serbia) and Hanno Mottola (Finland), as well as WNBA Legend Amaya Valdemoro (Spain), to lead the 50 campers from more than 25 European countries who will travel to the first Basketball without Borders (BWB) Europe camp in Gran Canaria, Spain June 2-5.
