BLOOMINGTON, Indiana – Indiana rowing head coach Steve Peterson announced that Madison Wright, a native of Hamilton, New Zealand, has signed to join the Indiana Rowing program starting in the fall of 2017. She joins the five students that signed National Letters of Intent in November 2016 to join the program for the 2017-18 academic year.
Wright won a gold medal in the Senior Women's Coxless Quad at the North Island Club Championships in 2017 and also placed fourth at the Women's U-19 coxed four at the New Zealand Club Championships. In 2016, she collected a gold medal at the girls U-18 coxless pair at the NISSC regatta and took fifth at Nationals MAADI Cup.
