A couple days after being seen shooting in the gym on his instagram, the school officially announced that freshman Jerome Hunter will redshirt this year, missing the rest of the season.
The Pickerington, Ohio native, the no. 59 overall recruit according to the 247 composite rankings, will have four years of eligibility remaining after retaining this year.
Hunter made the announcement on Indiana’s pregame radio show before Monday night’s game against Nebraska, with coach Archie Miller having this to add in his postgame press conference.
