Early this season, Indiana heads to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational, and now the field is set for the annual tournament. The Hoosiers go up against Wake Forest in their first game, and the rest of the bracket looks like this:
St. Johns vs. Vanderbilt
Indiana vs. Wake Forest
Kansas vs. Chaminade
UNLV vs. UCLA
The stage is set for a battle between college basketball royalty in Indiana and Kansas. Obviously, those two will need to take care of business first, but IU vs. KU would be an intriguing matchup.
Yes it’s only a non-conference tournament, but this year’s Maui is important for Indiana.
