Women’s Golf Tied For 10th After Day One At Rio Verde

RIO VERDE, Ariz. – Junior Ally Scaccia and sophomore Chloe Horton both fired four-over 76's on the opening day of play at the 15th annual Rio Verde Invitational and the Bradley women's golf team is tied for 10th in the 19-team field following Friday's action.

Horton and Scaccia head into Saturday's second round one shot out of the top 20 and just two from the top 10 after they each carded four-over 76 at the Rio Verde County Club's par-72 White Wing Golf Course. The duo helped the Braves shoot 311 as a team and close the day tied with Arkansas-Little Rock for 10th.
