RIO VERDE, Ariz. – Sophomore Frankie Saban fired a career-best two-under 70 and the Bradley women's golf team matched its lowest round of the 2016-17 to climb into eighth in the 19-team field at the 15th annual Rio Verde Invitational Saturday.
The Braves were tied for 10th to start the day and turned in a seven-over 295 in Saturday's second round to move up two spots into eighth in the team standings. The 295 matched Bradley's lowest score of the 2016-17 season, which was carded in October at the MVC Preview and tied for the sixth-lowest team round in school history.
