Women’s Golf at Indiana’s IU Invitational Saturday and Sunday

NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's golf team returns to action this weekend when the Redbirds travel to Bloomington, Indiana, to play in Indiana's IU Invitational at the par-72, 5,884-yard IU Golf Course.

The tournament consists of a 54-hole, stroke-play format, with 36 holes being played Saturday and the final 18 holes Sunday, April 9. Both days will start with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. CT. The tournament field features nine teams. Joining the Redbirds and the host Hoosiers are Akron, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, IUPUI, Toledo, Western Michigan and Xavier.

Last Time Out
The Illinois State women's golf team finished William & Mary's Kingsmill Intercollegiate March 28 with its second-lowest three-round score of the season, as the Redbirds carded a 916 (300-309-307) at the par-72, 6,043-yard River Course at Kingsmill Resort.
