NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's basketball program finalized its 2017 recruiting class with the signing of Paige Saylor, head coach Kristen Gillespie announced Thursday.
Saylor, who hails from Martinsville, Indiana, played four years of varsity basketball at Roncalli High School in Indianapolis. The 5-foot-5 guard averaged 13.3 points, 5.9 assists and 4.0 steals per game as a senior while being named to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/Subway "Supreme 15" Team and earning All-Marion County and All-Circle City Conference accolades. Saylor, who also participated in the 2017 North/South Indiana All-Star Classic, played in 98 career games and finished as the program's career assist leader with 419.
