PEORIA, Ill. – Jelena Karla Vujicic entered this weekend's Bradley Invitational with no previous collegiate tennis experience but left a champion in the singles flight two bracket.
The Illinois State women's tennis team concluded the weekend with an overall record of 10-5 in singles and 3-3 in doubles at the three-day Bradley Invitational.
"I'm really happy with the effort today, especially on the last day of the tournament when fatigue is a factor," Illinois State head coach Maja Kovacek said. "Jelena had a great run this weekend and showed a lot of promise.
