PEORIA — Bradley guard Ronnie Suggs has requested and received his release from the BU men's basketball program, Braves coach Brian Wardle confirmed Wednesday.

The 6-foot-6 Suggs' playing time dropped severely from his 30 minutes per game average as a freshman, when he averaged 8.5 points and 4.0 rebounds, to just 7.2 minutes in one-half of the Braves' contests as a sophomore. Suggs averaged 1.9 points and 1.8 rebounds this season.

Suggs, a Washington, Mo., native, is the last of four Braves to be granted their release this week, joining Alex Foster, Jerome Merritt and Lou Griffith.
