ISU football set to hold public scrimmage

NORMAL — Several key situations that confront a football team in the process of a game will be the focus of Illinois State’s 4 p.m. intrasquad scrimmage Saturday at Hancock Stadium.

The workout is the Redbirds’ lone public scrimmage of the preseason. There is no admission charge.

“We’ve still got some decisions to make,” said ISU coach Brock Spack, whose team opens the season with a Sept. 2 home game against Butler.
