NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State track and field teams will travel to Charleston, Illinois, to compete in the John Craft Invitational at the Lantz Fieldhouse. The John Craft Invite is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with the weight throw this Saturday. Track events are slated to begin at 11:30 a.m. with the 60-meter hurdles.
The Redbirds are coming off a strong effort at the Terre Haute Double Dual. Indiana State took home the Coughlan/Mallory Cup, as they scored, 156.5-145.5, over ISU. Derrius Rodgers and D'Jenne Egharevba had outstanding performances in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash, as they both won the events.
