Normal, Ill. – The Bradley men's basketball team couldn't overcome a slow start to the game as Illinois State prevailed in the I-74 Rivalry, 64-50, on Saturday night. The Braves are now 9-18 this season and 4-10 in Missouri Valley action, while the first-place Redbirds improve to 21-5 and 13-1 against MVC foes.
Junior JoJo McGlaston and freshman Jayden Hodgson each led Bradley with 11 points on the night with Hodgson scoring all 11 of his points in the second half. Junior Donte Thomas led BU with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
