CLARKSVILLE, TN– The Braves went 3-2 in the Cathi Maynard Invitational, powered by their offense following rain delays into the weekend.
Game 1
The Braves were able to string together four doubles to put them ahead, early. Bailey Sample, Abbott Badgley, Ashley Breeding, and Lauren DeRolf all hit RBI doubles to put the Braves up in the third inning and fourth innings.
The Braves were able to score all 8 of their runs in those two innings.
Defensively, the Braves recorded no errors and Sydney Kennedy only allowed 2 hits throughout the game, while recording 8 strikeouts.
