Sterling, Ill./Brown County) scored a game-high 16 points off the bench and senior Leti Lerma (Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) added 12 rebounds, but Bradley's three-game win streak came to an end with a 70-50 loss to Northern Iowa Friday at the McLeod Center.
Northern Iowa (17-6 overall, 10-2 MVC) connected on eight three-pointers and made 26 trips to the free throw line to top the Braves.
UNI's Madison Weekly scored eight consecutive points during a 10-0 first quarter run which gave the Panthers an early 14-2 lead.
