Box Score PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves fought hard until the buzzer but fell in a close battle against conference rival Illinois State University, 78-74.

In the first half, the Braves came out hot. They shot 48.3% from the field, 53.8% from the three-point line. After only playing 15 minutes in the first half, Freshman Halli Poock already scored 15 points. The Braves were winning at the boards, outrebounding the Redbirds 18 to 15. Going into halftime, Bradley held Illinois State to no field goals in the last 2:59 minutes.
