The Bradley men’s basketball team is headed to Cancun on Thanksgiving week.
According to a source close to the tournament, the Braves have joined a field at the Cancun Challenge that includes SMU, Wright State and Penn State on Nov. 20-21, the Tuesday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week. BU is expected to play SMU in the first game.
All four teams return solid nuclei from good seasons.
Bradley (20-13, 106 RPI) returns four starters from a team that finished fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference.
SMU, coached by former Illinois State coach Tim Jankovich, was 17-16 with a 110 RPI, including a win at Wichita State.
