KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. — Behind Chayanid Prapassarangkul and Bing Singhsumalee, the Illinois women’s golf team climbed one spot to a tie for third in Monday’s second round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate.
Prapassarangkul was tied for seventh at 1 over while Singhsumalee had a share of ninth at 2 over through 36 rounds at Turtle Point Golf Course. Furman’s Haylee Harford was the second-day individual leader at 5 under.
Furman paced the team leaderboard as well at 1-over 577 through two days. First-day leader Campbell was second at 6 over, while the Illini and Chattanooga each held a share of third at 14 over.
