The press conference to introduce Josh Whitman as the new Illinois athletic director will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, school officials said today.
The press conference will be held in the Hall of Fame Room at the Bielfeldt Athletics Administration Building on the UI campus.
Whitman is scheduled to hold another press conference in Chicago on Thursday afternoon before delivering another press conference in Edwardsville on Friday afternoon.
The former Illini tight end and law school graduate is currently the athletic director at Division III Washington University in St. Louis. Officials there, contacted Wednesday morning, would not confirm Whitman's departure from the school.
