No. 7: Christian DiLauro, OL
Why he's important: Most of the Illinois offensive line might be in flux this fall, be it potential moves for Nick Allegretti and Gabe Megginson or one or more of the true freshman or returners with little experience vying for an open position. What won't be a question is where DiLauro will line up. The three-year starter — he entered the lineup for the final seven games as a redshirt freshman in 2014 — will be back anchoring the edge of Illinois line for the 2017 season. A little stability, some veteran experience and presence, will come in handy for the Illini.
